1. Introduction and acceptance of terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services. If the participant is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.

2. Scope of services

Nordic Tennis Studio AS provides tennis-related services, including but not limited to:

• Private tennis lessons
• Group training for children and adults
• Technique and tactical courses
• Serve and return training
• Tennis camps during school holidays
• Racket fitting and equipment advice

We may offer services at indoor or outdoor facilities, at partner venues, or at other locations communicated at the time of booking. Service descriptions, schedules, coaches, prices, and availability may change from time to time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our services are provided for recreational, educational, and training purposes only and do not constitute medical, physiotherapy, or other professional health services.

3. User obligations and responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when booking or registering.
• Ensure that you or the participant are physically fit to take part in tennis activities and seek medical advice if uncertain.
• Follow all safety instructions, facility rules, coach directions, and applicable laws.
• Use appropriate sportswear and footwear suitable for tennis and the relevant playing surface.
• Arrive on time for sessions and notify us promptly of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or special needs that may affect participation or safety.
• Refrain from disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, dangerous, or unlawful conduct.
• Take reasonable care of equipment, facilities, and property used during our services.

You are responsible for any damage caused by your intentional misconduct or negligence, including damage caused by a participant under your supervision, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

For minors, the parent or legal guardian is responsible for ensuring compliance with these Terms and for supervising the minor where appropriate.

4. Payment terms and conditions

Prices for services are communicated at the time of booking or registration and may include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment must be made in the manner and by the deadline specified by Nordic Tennis Studio AS.

• Bookings may require advance payment, partial payment, or full prepayment.
• We may refuse participation if payment has not been received by the due date.
• Any bank fees, card fees, currency conversion costs, or similar charges are borne by you unless otherwise stated.
• We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors and to cancel bookings affected by such errors, subject to applicable law.

For recurring courses, camps, or multi-session packages, payment terms may be set out in the booking confirmation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are payable within the stated due date.

5. Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellation and refund rules may vary depending on the type of service, venue, coach availability, and whether the booking is a private lesson, group course, camp, or equipment consultation. The following general rules apply unless a specific written policy is provided at booking:

• Private lessons: Cancellations made within the notice period stated at booking may be rescheduled subject to availability. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full.
• Group training and courses: Missed sessions are generally non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed.
• Tennis camps: Separate camp terms may apply. Refunds may depend on the timing of cancellation and any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
• Equipment advice and racket fitting: Fees for completed consultations are non-refundable.

If we cancel a service for reasons within our control, we will, at our discretion and where reasonably possible, offer a rescheduled session, credit, or refund for the affected portion of the service. No refund is due where cancellation results from your breach of these Terms, failure to attend, or circumstances beyond our control.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Administrative fees may be retained to the extent permitted by law and disclosed in advance.

6. Liability limitations

Participation in tennis activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, overuse injuries, equipment-related injuries, weather-related hazards, and injuries caused by other participants or third parties. By using our services, you acknowledge and accept these risks to the extent permitted by law.

Nordic Tennis Studio AS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, except where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to a service shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual property rights

All materials provided by Nordic Tennis Studio AS, including but not limited to training plans, course content, videos, images, written materials, logos, branding, and other intellectual property, are owned by or licensed to Nordic Tennis Studio AS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use such materials solely for your personal, non-commercial use in connection with our services. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, sell, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written consent.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be used by Nordic Tennis Studio AS without restriction or compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

8. Data protection and privacy

Nordic Tennis Studio AS processes personal data in connection with bookings, payments, communication, service delivery, safety, administration, and legal compliance. We handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and our privacy practices.

• We may collect contact details, booking information, payment information, attendance records, and relevant health or safety information you choose to provide.
• Personal data is used only for legitimate business purposes and where there is a lawful basis for processing.
• We may share data with service providers, payment processors, venue operators, or authorities where necessary and lawful.

9. Force majeure

Nordic Tennis Studio AS shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemic, epidemic, strike, labor dispute, power outage, transport disruption, facility closure, governmental action, or other force majeure events.

In such cases, we may suspend, reschedule, modify, or cancel services without liability, except for any mandatory rights you may have under applicable law or any specific written agreement.

10. Changes to terms

We may update or amend these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will take effect when published or when otherwise communicated to you, unless a later effective date is stated.

Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you should stop using our services and, where applicable, contact us regarding any active booking or subscription.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in Norway, with venue in Oslo, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

13. Severability clause

Any invalid or unenforceable provision shall, where possible, be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent and commercial purpose of the original provision.
